Booking & Enquiries~
When should I book my Bridal Hair trial?
Bridal hair trials are recommended 2-4months before the wedding, this will be discussed during a consultation call.
Where and when do trials take place?
Appointments are available at my home address every Tuesday and Wednesday. Weekend appointments are available on request, but these are very limited due to wedding bookings. Best months to secure a weekend appointment are October, November, January & February and can only be booked a month or two before.
Trials are 1-1.5 hours
What should I bring or prepare for my trial?
Specifics of what to expect ahead of trial will be discussed during a consultation call- this will include timing your trial with any hair changes like maximising hair growth and colour changes. We will also discuss your desired look and whether you may need hair extensions, this helps to avoid the need for multiple trials.
Please wash hair the day before your trial, bring a veil and any hair pieces.
Can I bring someone to my trial?
Yes, Of course! All I ask is that you confirm this before the trial so that I can make necessary adjustments to my space.
How long will hair take on the wedding morning?
Generally, I book out an hour for the bride and 45 minutes for everyone else. This is further discussed both at the time of consultation call and at the trial, as it will depend on each individual. With all of the information to hand, I will prepare a rough timeline for you and it will be confirmed the week of the wedding, incase of any changes. It is worth baring in mind, the timeline is just a guideline and the bridal party should remain flexible.
In the UK, hair is usually completed an hour before the ceremony if on site, plus travel time if off site. Across Europe, many wedding planners and photographers prefer you to be ready a few hours before the ceremony, so please include this in your online enquiry and specify if you would like to have me on hand until the ceremony.
What time do you usually start?
My start time will depend on the number of people having their hair done and the finish time. If a timeline takes me before 6am, I will bring an assistant to help close that gap, ensuring no stressful early starts.
Do you travel to my home or venue?
I will travel to either your home address, or your wedding venue (assuming there is adequate space to get ready). This is a personal choice and is something to be considered to reflect your wedding day arrangements.
There is also the option to get ready at home, and come to the venue for touch ups. This is simply for peace of mind and is not a necessity. If you would prefer this option, please state it, in your enquiry.
Do you charge for travel or mileage?
For UK weddings, mileage will be included in quotations. Accommodation for the evening before may be quoted for certain areas of the Uk.
For Corfu weddings mileage will be included in quotations, travel expenses will only be included for dates I am not on the island. Accommodation costs are not quoted for Corfu as I have a home on the island.
For other destinations, quotes will include all mileage, travel and accommodation costs.

The Wedding Day~
When should I wash my Hair?
Hair should be ever so slightly dirty, but not oily, so will depend on the individual.
I advise everyone to wear rollers to bed the evening before to keep hair directed away from the roots.
If the bride is having a bouncy blow-dry, I will advise to wash hair the evening before or morning of. This will be confirmed during consultation.
Can I use extensions?
The use of extensions will be discussed during consultation and again during your trial. You don’t have to use them, it’s a personal choice, but it can benefit some hair types and compliment certain looks.
Do you supply accessories or should I bring my own?
I don’t currently offer accessories, but I can assist with sourcing reputable brands. It is recommended to bring these to your trial, but not essential.
Will my hair last all day?
Every hairstyle I create is built to last the full wedding day, of course, wind, rain and humidity can test any style, but I use professional techniques and products that give your hair the best possible hold. I’ll always advise on styles and prep that will perform best for your location and season, and provide tips for quick touchups if the weather turns.
Do you offer makeup?
I don’t offer makeup, but I can recommend some amazingly talented makeup artists in both the UK and Europe, many of whom are willing to travel with me to bring down costs.
What if you are ill and unable to attend on the day?
I’ve never missed a wedding, but in the unlikely event that I were unwell or unable to attend, I have a trusted network of highly experienced bridal stylists who could step in. I would personally arrange everything and share your hairstyle notes, timings and details to ensure your morning runs smoothly and your completely taken care of.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am insured for both UK and overseas weddings. A copy of my insurance is available upon request in the UK and my insurance certificate must always be on me for overseas weddings to comply with local laws.
Can I book you for party hair, engagement shoots or any other special events?
Yes, I started out as a hairstylist for all events before I turned my focus to weddings. Non-wedding requests are open 3 months before the events.
